Cogeneration Project
Location: Union City, CA
Description: This project consisted of the construction of a new dual-fuel (biogas and natural gas) internal combustion engine cogeneration system and biogas condition system inside an entirely new building. The project included new cogeneration switchgear, a new motor control center, and a new programmable logic controller. A new 480-volt to 12-kilovolt transformer was installed along with a new 480V power feed. The project also included the installation of new cogeneration engine-generators.
